Once upon a time, I posted a grungy version
of one of the above photos of Heather Joy
also known as Dot from Suicide Girls, promising that one day the full set would be released. That day has come! Obviously, the versions used for SG were not as post-heavy, but we still went with a muted palette for it.
A few people have questioned the set title, Beyond the Pale, and wondering what the fuck Jim Gaffigan has to do with it, but Heather Joy chose the title from a Tori Amos lyric.

In a total change from my usual desaturated sets, Zoli : Tumbler is super colorful, just like her personality. We shot this in Las Vegas, and laughed SO hard the entire time that I cannot believe there are any photos of her with a straight face.

See what I mean?

Courtney Riot kept us company while we were shooting.

What an awesome shoot! It seems like everyone takes themselves way too seriously nowadays. She seems to be having so much fun in these pictures – so full of life!

And yet, not a SINGLE person questioned the relevance of its historical roots.
