30 dollars? Bargain. Those kind of shots created with digital with photoshop just aren't the same. I love the slight lack of control, as if it is the photographer and the camera as two seperate entities working together!

I am not a photographer myself, but perhaps this would be a great thing to learn from an ignorant perspective.

Beth, you should definitely go get a Holga! They start at only about $30, although the film & processing does start adding up. I think it's totally worth it, though.

@Dave - sadly, Heather & I had to postpone our shoot. Hopefully we can hook up sometime in the next week.

"I took out the rest of the foam and replaced it with a folded up side of a pack of cigarettes..."

Holy film noir! How much more hard core can you get? Awesome pics, though. And another Heather Joy shoot? Nice.

The last photo is just breathtaking. I could happily get sucked into this style of photography all day. Hurrah for distressed, sepia and imperfections!

Those are pretty great. I love the black halo.

I had a Kodak 110 insta as a kid that could be pretty random, but since 110 is cartridge film there was no chance of things getting _too_ out of hand. Some interesting double exposures sometimes.
