Sunday Smut : Now With More Gore!
by Samantha ~ May 10th, 2009. Filed under: smut, vision. On Easter Sunday, I found myself in Hollywood with:
A. A SFX makeup artist
B. A girl in lingerie on a bed
Election
C. A gallon of fake blood
D. A rather large kitchen knife
Pandie had contacted me a few weeks before about shooting a Black Dahlia inspired set for Suicide Girls. Gory sets for SG are a bit of a risk, since it seems like the majority of the members nowadays only want fluffy bunny shit, but I said Fuck Yes. I miss the good old days of SG where a girl getting eviscerated was acceptable in the name of art.

Obviously, I couldn’t bisect Pandie, or leave her in an empty field (especially considering the holiday), so this our modern day rendition of the notorious murder. Our version is campy, sexy, and I show off my blood splatter photoshop skills (which are laughable, at best).
SEE?! They are magnificent, and heavily influenced by B horror. Thankfully, Kiki’s makeup artistry
is fantastic, so we had a proper Dahlia smile on Pandie’s face for the final shots. Kiki is also our mysterious murderer, in case you were wondering.
Anyway, The Black Dahlia is currently in Member Review, and needs your love.

If you need ideas for gore, I’d suggest two.
First, Bensonhurst Girl(s) – Italian girl, dolled up, but whacked (single small cal bullet behind the ear pointed forward, not that’d I’d know). Eyes of Laura Mars kind of thing. If you want the fully creepy effect, photoshop the “whites” of the eyes to look grey and blurry/cloudy.
Second, Fluffy Bunny theme – a take off of the Gangs of New York, an Irish Immigrant girl with her dead rabbit, with a bottle of whiskey and a knife.
PS look at the 135mm f2.0L lens. Outstanding sharpness, and less than $1000 . It will become my portrait lens.

That lens is hot. Promptly added to my wishlist, so keep your fingers crossed SG starts buying my sets soon so that I can buy it!

Always push the envelope with sets like this. Don’t let them get complacent.
That really was/is a peculiar case, isn’t it? It’ll probably never be solved now.
