Mark of the Beast

There is absolutely NO post-processing on that image.
Which is exactly why I fucking love Holgas. I didn’t plan that, didn’t expect it, and probably couldn’t have done it even if I tried.
Color shots are on Fujifilm Fujicolor Pro 400H Color Negative Film Winged Creatures divx , black & whites are Kodak Professional T-Max 400 – Black & white print film (120mm for both). More on my flickr.

It’s both funny and heartening to see you and others going ga-ga over Holgas in this age of affordable, and technically superior digital gear.
Bought my first camera for a buck (12 exposures of film included!) and learned a lot from that chromatically abberated, plastic lensed, 126 film hunk o’ junk.
There is much to be said for the mental discipline that develops learning to use simple cameras to good effect (not to mention, the economical mindset that obtains in order not to go broke buying and processing film ;).
Thanks for the card!

Oh, I hear ya. A few months ago I spent a few thousand on Canon gear, and all I ever talk about is my growing collection of plastic pieces of crap cameras. But yes, indeed, all that processing is adding up fast!
And no problem on the card! Thank YOU for your generosity!

I don’t care if it cost 2K or $2– those shuddering moments captured by shutter are priceless.
