Salvaged
by Samantha ~ August 3rd, 2009. Filed under: vision.
I keep waiting for it to rain, which seems like an effort in vain in Los Angeles.
It seems like I’m waiting for a lot of things, lately. It’s rather frustrating when plans are in motion but stuck in transit. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not unhappy or unsettled. Just … waiting. I am a beast of instant gratification.
The past week :
- Harry Potter with Liam.
- Immediately converting back to sleeping late after rising at dawn every day in Central America.
- Bending color (JoLeigh in Salvage, above, for example).
- Building new galleries & link pages, here on 523.
- Ignoring the screams of my undeveloped film wanting to be processed (scanner, soon, I am promising myself).
- Vito’s pizza – by far the best.
- Fashion shows with Ebb & Clint.

The Taming of the Shrew movies
Covets of Today / Goals of Tomorrow :
- Prague / Paris / Berlin
- Scanner (I swear, I will stop blubbering about this)
- Girls Girls Girls (ongoing secret project)
- Photos photos Photos
What do you do when you are less than inspired?

Well tonight I did the following: trolled ebay for collectibles I have no business buying, went back through the last few weeks of SG sets to see if I missed anything good, and I left comments on all of your sets in Member Review.
The main site I use for being inspired to actually do something productive is LifeHacker, but they are having technical difficulties tonight. So instead I went over to their sister site io9 to get caught up on the latest science fiction news. Total productivity fail tonight.

I love the second picture. It gets a little trippy effect when you scroll up and down (I am a bit of a child when it comes to optical illusions :-).

Do you have to go through some sort of application process to have photos shot by you for something other than by/for a suicide girl…??

No application! Why don’t you shoot me an email with some more details about what you’re interested in. I do charge a sitting fee, but send your info over to fractal [dot] suicide [at] gmail [dot] com (no brackets, etc.)
