Back in Season

I think I’m a little in love with these images by Nicol Vizioli.
It’s really lovely to be inspired again. A few nights ago, I watched a documentary about my new love, Francesca Woodman, and was full of a need to create images again. It’s been so long since I’ve wanted to Make Art. It was snuffed out a few years ago by being uncomfortable with myself and with my environment. I think lately I’ve been more self-aware and more confident again, and feeling at home in myself and my surroundings.
I’m looking forward to retraining my eye, and regaining my footing.

Thank you so much for posting these when you did. Nicol’s work is so beautiful, and I’ve just seen on her site that she’s got an exhibition ending today just around the corner from where I work. Will certainly be taking a long lunch today to check it out!

So happy for you. Elizabeth and I are doing a simplifying and changing major things. I can already see her peeling away the scales and getting her love for life back. So happy it’s happening for you. Nothing like a change of environment to rejuvenate the creative juices!
