That awesome location is my kitchen table, where I am sitting and typing this up this very moment.  It’s amazing what Sawa’s clever lighting and Cherry’s photoshop skills can do.  Usually, it is not covered in me and skulls, but it does have cats on it, more often than not.

Chicken’s a Sphynx cat, which is a hairless breed, and she loves her mommy.  When she isn’t napping or whining for food, she’s usually at my side, much like in the photos.  She’s not sick, but she did, however, need a bath that day.

My favorite part about prepping for this set was when Sawa and I went out hunting for all those critters, killed and skinned them, than danced around my backyard wearing their skins and painted our faces with their blood.

Every specimen in my collection was purchased or obtained by legal and humane methods.  None of those pieces were killed for their innards.  Many of them were purchased from Necromance in Hollywood, the Bone Room in Berkley, and a few other various places.  And yes, all of them are real (save for the spine model and fetal skull).
